The Geotech AC Sipper is a single-phase AC-powered remediation system designed for efficient hydrocarbon recovery. Its flexible design supports up to seven wells and its compact, easy-to-install configuration makes it a popular choice across the industry.
Using a unique downhole pressure/vacuum pump and an oleophilic/hydrophobic intake filter, the AC Sipper selectively recovers hydrocarbons while minimising water collection. It can extract fluids from depths of up to 55 metres below ground surface and recover even highly viscous products, including 90-weight oil when paired with a heavy oil skimmer. The system is ideal for recovering floating hydrocarbons (LNAPL) and can also be configured with a fixed intake for the recovery of sinking products (DNAPL).
