All products

This range of products is what sets us apart, and has resulted in government awards for innovation & sustainability. Add sustainability to your monitoring well installations, and reduce your plastic waste footprint.

  • Made from post-consumer recycled plastic (i.e. bottles and other plastic waste sent for recycling), these stylish upright covers give your monitoring well a professional finish. By purchasing products made from recycled plastic you are supporting the plastic recycling industry. The reuse of current resources and the conservation of our future resources are fundamental to all our design concepts where practical. The Heavy Duty Standpipe Cover range is thick walled (23mm) HDPE (high density polyethylene) to give you a very strong, chemically inert and petroleum resistant well cover. They are available in blue or black with large bright orange reflectors for high visibility.

  • Dissolved Oxygen Smart Sensor The Model 32 is a solid state DO sensor with built-in smarts which outputs to Modbus RTU through RS232 hardware. It is designed to be connected into existing hardware which accepts the Modbus RTU protocol. The Model 32 sensor is extrememly rugged and reliable, utilising solid state technology for DO measurement. I’m glad we got onto these, they’re great sensors, the M32 we have deployed is running like clockwork.”  Lia -  Hydrographer. VIC.

The Economy Standpipe Cover is a thinner walled option for budget limited projects. They have a recycled plastic inner core and a bright yellow outer layer for high visibility.

  • Lightweight and Rugged The SP155 is the largest of our plastic Standpipe Covers. With a 145mm ID it is ideal for LFG installations where using a 'Gas Clam' instrument for continuous LFG monitoring may be desired.
    • Ideal for 100mm well installations
    • Plastic standpipe cover, will not rust
    • A wider opening (145mm ID) for use with a "Gasclam" or other instrumentation
    • Strong protection for your monitoring wells with a professional, stylist finish
    • High security with one way security screws to deter tampering
    • High visibility yellow colour
    • Safer to use with no sharp steel edges
  • A New Concept for Standpipe Covers - Hidden Hinge Design The 100mm square yellow steel standpipe cover has a unique hidden hinge design which provides a rain proof cover. Traditional looking standpipe covers have hinges which are exposed to the elements and therefore prone to corrosion and eventually seizing up or dropping off. The unique design has addressed this weakness. These low-cost covers have a bright yellow powder coated finish, and are also available as galvanised.
  • Corrosion Protection for Standpipe Covers: Certain site requirements or tender specifications require galvonised steel. The standpipe also has a unique non-binding swivel hinge for long life,  which is protected from rain. Traditional looking standpipe covers have hinges which are exposed to the elements and therefore prone to corrosion and eventually seizing up or dropping off. Our unique design has addressed this weakness. The 100mm square galvanised steel standpipe covers have a unique non-binding 'hidden hinge' design which provides a rain proof cover. These low-cost covers have a galvanised / silver finish for corrosion protection.
  • Passive skimmers for fuel removal The KV Passive Skimmers utilize a patented membrane material to separate fuel from water. Subsurface fuel spills are recovered by membrane separation so the fuel simply falls into the passive "bailer" reservoir. These fuel bailers easily recover LNAPL such as petrol and diesel from groundwater.

    KV50 and KV100 Dimensions

  • These Standpipe Covers are designed to be simple and robust, with a unique large clearance hinge that will not rust and bind, and an attractive bright blue powder coated finish. A padlock can also be used on the lid for extra security. 3 different sizes to choose from:
    • SPRB114 - 114mm diameter
    • SPRB165 - 165mm diameter
    • SPRB219 - 219mm diameter
  • LNAPL Skimming Socks for 50mm Monitoring Wells The easiest way to remove small amounts of fuels from monitoring wells is with these low-cost skimming socks. Each sock holds about 500ml.
  • Prepacked Screen for Environmental Monitoring Wells
    • Great solution for sites prone to collapsing sands
    • Ensures accurate placement of filter media across desired interval
    • No adapters required, will thread directly onto our casing
    • Available in 50mm (PN18), 1.5m lengths
    • Male / Female threaded
    • Bottom end caps available, including the universal 'FlexiPoint 50'

  • Using syringes for groundwater filtration in the field is a popular low-cost option. It can be an ideal choice if you are not using a pump, and have a manual device such as a bailer. When using a syringe 50ml at a time can be pushed through a filter. Small low-capacity filters can be used where turbidity is low. However if turbidity is high then it may be better to use a high capacity filter such as the AquaPore Biodegradable Filter Capsule. Syriges are available in luer-lock, catheter tipped, or eccentric tipped varieties.
  • Plug & Play Compatability - Smart Sensors The InsiteIG Single Channel Analyser is a unique system that combines advanced electronics with solid-state, smart sensors. The analyser will accept any standard InsiteIG DO, SS, pH, or ORP sensor and automatically configures for the correct operation. The system allows for flexible and economical process monitoring and control. Fluorescence Dissolved Oxygen —Theory of operation A very specific energy wavelength is transmitted to a ruthenium compound immobilized in a sol-gel matrix. The ruthenium will absorb this energy, changing the outer electron’s energy level. The electron will then collapse back to its original energy state, emitting the energy as a photon with a different specific wavelength. This is called fluorescing. If the intensity of the transmitted wavelength is tightly controlled, the amount of fluorescing is both predictable and repeatable. If oxygen molecules are present the amount of fluorescing is reduced, referred to as fluorescence quenching. By measuring the amount of quenching it is possible to determine the amount of oxygen present. Download Brochure
  • Screen and Casing Bore Pipe for Monitoring Well Installations Cut your costs for well installation and operate more sustainably on site. Each pair of 3m lengths of pipe is sleeved in biodegradable plastic, which means the sleeve will biodegrade away when disposed to a landfill, allowing you to help reduce the amount of plastic waste build-up. Most environmental screen and casing is wrapped in conventional plastic but this is adding to our plastic waste problem. The FieldTech Solutions Wellscreen is wrapped in biodegradable plastic preventing further plastic waste. We also use biodegradable packing tape in our shipments. 50mm casing and screen is made from uPVC and to class 18 size and is manufactured following the Australian Standard for Monitoring Wells. Each piece has a coarse male/female thread for easy field assembly and is o’ring sealed. Our biodegradable plastic wrapping:
    • Will only biodegrade once in a microbe rich environment such as a landfill
    • Does not require high oxygen or temperature to biodegrade such as in a commercial compost
    • Helps you to operate more sustainably
  • Filter sock can be used to protect groundwater wells from infiltration of fine silt and sediment. Made from polyester and with a 340 micron pore size. Available to suit 50mm, or 100mm to 150mm monitoring well screen. Simply sleeve the filter sock over the pvc screen before installation.
